This just in:  the CWB has announced handling agreements with all grain companies operating in western Canada.

For farmers who want to use the CWB to market their grain this should be good news.  What remains to be seen however, is what the cost imposed on the CWB by the private trade amounts to.

Never the less, the CWB is to be commended for securing these critical handling agreements.  Now we can wait and see what the real cost of those agreements are when the grain cheques start to roll in later this year.
